As one of the world’s premier intellectual property gatherings, the 2025 INTA Annual Meeting successfully concluded in San Diego from from May 17 to May 21. On the very next day, INTA introduced a groundbreaking initiative — the TM Golf Event, offering participants a relaxed platform to connect and build friendships through golf.

This event marked the first-ever golf-themed extension activity in INTA’s history, creating a new way for IP professionals worldwide to interact across disciplines. Experts from around the globe traded their business suits for golf attire, taking to the fairways to compete and embody the industry spirit of “Professionalism with Vitality.

The event was held at the renowned Maderas Golf Club in San Diego, a course designed by a master architect and known for its rolling greens, native vegetation, and stunning mountain views. Frequently ranked among “America’s Top Golf Courses,” Maderas provided participants with both a technical challenge and an immersion in California’s sunshine and natural beauty.

From the rigor of legal texts to the elegance of a golf swing, intellectual property professionals continually pursue excellence. The dual awards earned by Ms. Yingyan Li, Managing Partner of Li & N IP, were not only a personal honor but also a testament to the professionalism and vitality of China’s IP community. We look forward to more such cross-disciplinary events in the future, enriching the ways in which the IP industry connects and collaborates.
