On August 20, 2026, the Supreme People's Court issued the Decision on Amending the "Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Civil Disputes over Copyright". The Decision was adopted at the 1976th Session of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on May 25, 2026, and shall take effect from September 1, 2026.
